Zine Scene

January 25th, 2008 by Russell Davies

There’s not a huge amount to say about this. It’s a fascinating couple of programmes about fanzines fronted by the splendid Mr Jarvis Cocker. Here’s prog one, and here’s prog two. As requested by Joe. (Yes, we do requests pop-pickers)

ta ever so for these - i hope dear jarvis does more radio - his jarvcast short stories would be perfect.
a few years ago my dear old pal took a pile of fanzines to the british library so anyone desperate for a bit of 1986ish indie joy can get a batch there. my old thing even has a dewey class. no. now - how lovely.
